I've had it with AVG. Ver. 7 gave me an error and told me to reinstall it, and that happened several times. I was using ver. 8, but then I discovered that I can't turn off its services. Even when I try to manually kill its processes, they either don't turn off, or they just restart right after. Even after I turned off all of its services in msconfig, and the GUI menu itself said that there were no components running, there were still 2 processes running that wouldn't shut off. On top of all that, it's what I discovered was causing Call of Duty 4 MP to crash.
So, my question is: Is there a good, free Anti-Virus program that won't run when I don't want it to, and won't cause problems with my games?
