I need 1GB space, unlimited or high transfer, $15/yr and servers in US or UK.

For that price, could be kinda hard. Rackspace are the only people I've briefly looked at. Definitely not $15/yr though.

For my current hosting, I pay $25/yr for first and $15/yr for second (converted from PLN to USD).
I don't know what prices are in the USA or UK.

So what are best hostings for good prices?

I could do it but the least I would be able to charge would be 65/yr I would give you 1GB/200GB BW/5 SQL/Cpanel (I got a dedicated server- west coast USA nice datacenter that has an SSD drive and quad cores )

At the very lower end you will be paying 5/mo for half of the indicated above from another provider.

but you just want web hosting? an example is http://freepgs.com/ lowest plan is $10/yr 50GB/mo transfer+1GB storage+PHP+SQL, buy your $10 domain separately, there are other hosts out there like this

i also wonder about amazon cloud storage, but high bandwidth might end up costing more than regular usage, also it's a VPS not plain hosting

another option is OVH or their cheaper brand, kimsufi, they should have some north american datacenters (a competitor to them would be http://www.online.net/en but they might only be in france), but the prices for these are probably higher than you wanted... they do offer good bandwidth so they're tempting

what do you need the bandwidth for? why so cheap? porn? piracy? social video network?

Rackspace is nice, however they meter by usage so one month you may have a few cents and then the next month you're out 500 bucks. EC2 and azure are the same way.

Typical hosting is monthly flat rate. might be a little higher then a few cents a month, however you are price locked and no sudden spikes in cost.

What is it doing and what are you serving up. You should scale to how much load and traffic is going through your server now and base it off of that. Unlimited bandwidth can get pricey so I would recommend narrowing your options to what you really need since you want to pay next to nothing for it.

You can manage without a control panel like cpanel right? if you want cpanel or interworx (interworx is cheaper and more freq. updated) you'll have to pay 200 some for an outright buy or 20/mo or so if you want to lease it.
