Got an E8400 to play with :D

My mates board may have died so i'm testing his E8400 to see if its dead.Its at 4ghz/1.31vcore now,the temps are at 29/30c core 1/2.How high do you reckon i can get it? With my water loop the temps are nice.

Right,i was wondering on the voltage on this.What is it stock for a E8400? Temps are low for 4ghz.

Stock for almost every 775 CPU is 1.2v. Use Coretemp with the voltage on auto and read what it says under "VID."

I've seen E8400s hit about 4.7-4.8GHz. Not guaranteeing that this chip can do that, but about 4.4GHz should be reasonable.
