Hello, i have a Asus Rog Strix RX 480 and one of my gpu fans was maknig noise like squeak , sometimes stopping sometimes working randomly and now it works like a tractor. I want to ask it s ok if i disable that 1 fan only if it s ok how to do it? There are cables for seperate fans or i just need to try and remove the fan itself? I be happy if you help plz, thanks.

Unscrew the plastic shroud, and carefully remove the one connector for the fans from the PCB, then you can disconnect the faulty fan's cable from the other fan and put it back together.
Replacement fans are easily found on eBay.
