gpu lower clock and lock it on 503 mhz

i have noticed that my gpu (gtx680 2gb) after windows update on 30.09 is habing serious issues
to be exact,when i start pc it all work perfekt...,and starting a game is also not big a deal.. at least at begining!
After several minutes i notice that game start freezing,and laging. huge fps drop! so i started GPU-z in the back ground ,and noticed that after i some time in game it lower clocks and no mather what you do cant get them back up(all exept restart)
does anyone else having gpu issues after update???

Did you check your GPU temps?
It might be running hot and causing the clock to throttle.

Do you do any Alt Tabbing during game play? I have seen this issue in certain games that it basically locks you to the performance of your desktop after you alt tab.

Sounds like the same thing that happens from a failed overclock attempt then a TDSR causing the GPU to be stuck in one of the lower clocked power management states. I've ran into these in past Windows versions when overclocking a 660. Windows 10 though seems to recover/reset the GPU from recently messing with my older 660.

not the temps are not the issue as max temp recorded was 72ci do have i custom fan curve on asus AI suite
the problem begin with windows update on 30.09!! i just uninstalled it and palyed some games and keeping eye on gpu-z,everything seems ok now!!
i will come tomorow to confirm if the issue is gone oir not!! thnx peeps!!!

sry people for reviving this thread...,but after days of troubleshooting stil have the same issue,
im not quite sure ...,but i think there is something wrong with fan on the gpu...,i mean id does work,but normaly when temps go higher the fan should ramp up!! but in some situations that dont hapen.
And in that case i belive gpu to save it self from overheating lower the clocks,and get stuck on 2d clocks...,
So i instaled asus gputweak 2 and solution to this problem is to enable always3d clock
That get frequency to normal...but what causes fan not to react on higher temps??
