You know whats really weird, I said it earlier that you could get 6900 XT's for the same price as 6800 XT's. But now looking at micro center, they have 6900 XT's for significantly cheaper than pretty much all the 6800 XT's by hundreds of dollars.

I mean I am happy we can get stuff again and its not outrageously marked up, but the upper range cards pricing is weird right now.

Yeah the 6900 XT's are much lower. They are in the 3080 price range. I just want the 3070's to drop to msrp of $499 or lower. It would probably be crazy to buy one right now with the new cards coming.

The problem is, we're not really seeing any 3070 cards coming through. 95% of them seem to be the 3070Ti cards. I don't know how easy it'll be to obtain one of the 3070 if they're not hitting the shelves.

Yea, I just think it makes no sense to buy them right now. I am hoping as well as friends have been waiting ages for better mid range card prices like the 3070/ti.

Yea I am holding off because of it. I know I said like 3 times I was gonna go pick one up but now that its this close, what's a couple more months. Will give me a chance to build my computer inside my desk and building a water loop with it. Because whatever card I buy is staying for probably 4 years LOL.

Its amazing, the pricing is jumping around like crazy. Also seems like people are buying them up now that the pricing is much lower. Last week you could find 3080's for less than 1k and 6900 XT's for 1100, now its about 1100 for 3080's and less than 1k for 6900 XT's. Saw someone post a founders edition 3080 for sale in the Dallas area at 1400 for it, I was like "dude you are months too late, you can literally pick one up right now for less than 1k lol" He got so mad and argued that this was a "Founders edition" which is different. I almost died and everyone was laughing at him. I am glad the scalping is coming to an end for now, hopefully we wont see much of it with the next (Though im not holding my breath).

The crazy part is that it could be much higher than 5k. On the stock that has 25+ there is no telling how much they have due to them putting a + after 25. I see newegg has a 3070 for 599 for the first time. I think all of the prices are about to plummet soon or right before RTX 4000 releases.

That could be really bad for retailers that will have to eat some huge costs. I will say this though if you see 3080s,6800XT for anywhere near $350-400 US the mining crowd will snap them up. If you can get a 3070 for $250-$300 most Gamers still rocking a 1060 or 2070 would jump at that too. I feel the 4000 series will be eye watering to start unless Market dynamics change worse than what you predict.
