I wouldn't even waste my time with Best Buy, here in Houston, everything they sell is high, and they have always been the highest on everything for years. They will sometimes throw us a bone, with some decent prices on flash drives, but that's about it for this city.
Best Buy is fine for laptops and prebuilts.
I prefer in store rather than Amazon / deliveries for that, because them Amazon people are rushed and don't always handle packages with care. When we're talking about fragile components (mostly hard drives, but... laptops in general don't like getting rattled), ensuring that the whole package has been "babied" from factory to store and home is a big benefit IMO.
Specific computer parts aren't that good at Best Buy, but they are sometimes available. So its always worth checking out, at least online.
