My 1050TI has started to annoy me with dips below 60FPS in certain titles. I plan on passing down my 1060, but i'm not sure which card to replace it with. I really want to be able to play GTA VI at 4K60FPS when it launches.

1. Ive seen benchmarks for the 2080TI showing that it cant run certain titles at 4K60FPS. Is there a certain setting/reason that causes this?
2. Should I get a 2060,2070 or 2080 Super instead and buy the flagship card when GTA VI launches?

I dont really mind 1080P/1440P gaming as I havent yet experienced 4K. If i take option 2 above, the card I buy now will be relegated to 1080P75FPS duty when i make the jump.

Pricing here is as per attached.

I think if you can wait just a little longer, we will get to see what nvidia launches for updated cards. If nothing else, you might get something for less than before, or you may see an upgrade for the same money.

Wait until the game is out. Also GTA5 tanks a 2080/ti with certain detail settings.

I've found with GTA5 that just running the game in windowed mode caused the occasional stutter. Fullscreen is buttery smooth.

Thanks guys will keep the above in mind On a more pressing note Star Wars The Fallen Order is running at 40FPS when i use that PC. I cant really deal. Given the above pricing which card (2060,2070 or 2080 super) should I grab? Value for money, not price itself is the main concern - Performance wise they are all better than the 1060 which I have no issues with.
