GPU upgrade

seems like +30% is a pattern in everything I measure the new card against the old one.
In division 1080 oc ran mostly in high 70s to mid 80s, now I get +100 fps at all times, mostly between 110 and 120.

Impressive, the 1080 ti is definitely a very capable card - you can easily hit 165 with turned down settings.

nah, even 8700k OC wouldn't deliver stable 165 frames.
But I am happy with the performance I'm seeeing, especially if the card turns out to be cool,quiet and looks dazzling.

I guess so - I'm glad it worked out for you in the end, how's temperatures and the noise output? I've found that to be a problem with my 1080 ti ftw3 since it's pretty loud under load - I'm considering custom looping my system myself.

Ridiculous for a +250W card running uncapped framerate at almost constant max. utilization. I expected trio to deliver good results, but this is actually cooler and quieter than my 1080 super jetstream, which is one of the best 1080s. The owner of the cards himself confirmed it, he had 3x trios and 2x normal gaming x dual fan 1080Ti's, the trio runs great for such a monster card. He sold his three trio cards and kept the dual fan ones in SLI to get more money back from his failed investment into mining.

Awesome! What fan speed are you running yours at or is it auto? That's a damn good card there.

I run both at 70% speed, fixed. trio is actually producing a more gentle noise while it stays 5-6 degrees cooler.

Been testing the card the whole day,I played BF1,Battlefront 2,Quantum Break,ROTR,WatchDogs2 and Division.This is what afterburner recorded as max. temp this whole time with 2GHz on the core and fixed 70% fan.
