GPU-Z.0.5.9 and AMD 7950 GPU voltage bug?

Default core voltage 1.031v, clocks 900/1250, Power control 0%
GPU-Z detects spikes in VDDC up to 1.498v and VDDC Current up to 127 A

Afterburner and HWMonitor both show max voltage 1.031v and no spikes above that.
What can it be?

close the other software that's trying to access the voltages at the same time as gpuz and the problem should go away
