GPU-Z Compatability/version question - Pre XP and oldest recognised GPUs

I have tried searching for this answer, but have had no joy.

Do recent versions recognise the same early GPUs as earlier versions, or are cards deprecated after a certain time? If cards do get removed from newer versions once they reach a certain age, is there an online resource, without spending hours analysing the changelogs (it would take that long as I have almost zero attention span, and get easily distracted) that will tell me which versions are needed for older cards, as well as at what point Win 2K support was dropped? Even better if there were versions that would run on 9x

I know that the NVidia Riva TNT was supported in early versions. Is it still supported? Was/is Riva 128 supported?
ATI Radeon VE / 7000 were also supported. What about the Mobility Radeon (R100 GPU)? Or any Rage cards?

I plan to set up several older systems for testing my CPU and graphics card collection, and do some serious benchmarking (by serious, I don't mean extreme - just lots of it) and am working on getting the right software for each system

I'm not dropping support for older cards.

Support for really old cards might have never been there in the first place.

Don't think Rivat TNT was ever support. Give it a try and let me know.

I will find out before the end of the year (going to be benching newer stuff before older). I can see plenty of screenshots on hwbot, but no idea what OS each result was on, as my memory is shot so I don't recognise the different system looks

It won't start on W2K as it's linked for V5.01, if you change it to be 5.00 then it might. CPUZ_X32 does run on W2K, but it needed adjusting to dynamically load rather than be statically linked to a couple of kernel32 routines before it would.

If you are intending that GPUZ should work on XP and especially W2K I suspect you need to consider the code generation you select. These old systems are likely to be running with P-III or Athlon-XP CPUs and the latest GPUZ crashes out because of illegal instructions.
