GPU-Z Lookup Feature ASUS RTX 2080 ti Question

I have an ASUS RTX 2080 ti Turbo that came as part of a prebuilt system but in GPUZ Lookup it links to the ASUS Dual version of the card.

Is this a function of the BIOS running on the card, a mistake, or am I just missing something obvious?

The label on the card clearly says Turbo and the lack of backplate is a dead giveaway that its not a Dual

Get a physical pic of the card and heatsink along with white stickers.

Just to notify you they use certain images as a place holder.

There is a newer bios for your card

As stated before images tend to be placeholders.

I noticed yours is pretty much a reference blower style card.

Some cards despite using a different hsf may use the same exact bios and can be interchanged based upon memory contained in the bios in the card and the subsystem ID

Ive seen instances where bios were showing this board design but were actually nitros and not reference cards like in this image.

If i had time and facilities i would verify a lot of these files and truncate the ones that are exactly the same by build date and card they are for.

Sorry, I thought you meant placeholders in the GPU database.

For VGA BIOS collection we do indeed fallback to the base card because we don't have linkage between BIOS and GPUDB for all SKUs (this is a manual process for every single board, and some vendors recycle BIOS between different SKUs)
