GPU-Z still say [FAKE] after flashing GTS450 to correct BIOS

I flashed a GTS 450 sold as a fake 1050TI with a working BIOS
Windows installed the driver just fine, games work fine, but the only problem left is GPU-Z still says [FAKE]
This doesn't make any sense since the computer detects this as a proper GTS450 now and the correct Nvidia driver installs.
Why does GPU-Z still say this if the BIOS now matches the card?
What does GPU-Z look at to determine if a card is [FAKE] or not? Does it do this with every modded BIOS?

the card could physically be weird, we've seen laptop parts used in a few GPUs on here

if the card works it works, just use it

Your GPU reports back device ID 1245 which is for GF116. The actual GPU is GF106. This discrepancy triggers the fake detection.

If the card works fine I wouldn't worry about it. GF106 is very similar to GF116, which is why the BIOS works

This is fine, many chinese vendors which don't have their own ID at PCI-SIG use 0000, even though it technically is an invalid value

This BIOS was made by Lyu and cromalhao on the Linus Tech Tips forum so credit to them.
Could I change the SUBSYS_ID and the device ID in a hex editor? Thanks.
