So was watching E3, and they showed GT5! It looks so amazing! However, I haven't played the Prologue, but in GT5, you can actually race Nascar!

Hmm I thought gt wasnt going to show damage?

That's what the maker of the game said when prolouge was announced

Its a fun game but they need more stuff in it
the also charged for videos which was out of the question for me

I recall something along those lines as well, but I think damage only makes the game better, personally, but I'm sure it comes along as an expense in the game to fix the car.
I think the incorporation of Nascar in it will make it a little better. They are also going to release it on the new PSP

It'll be in the retail. Prologue being just the demo you have to pay for

There was talk before Prologue that it might get damage as an update, but that hasn't happened? Anyhow that would be time off the GT5 development, so probably a good thing. Hope there is a PS3 slim cheap with GT5 bundle when the game is ready :cool:

So you can't push your way to win? So you can't bounce of the wall around the track? If not nothing else, you'd get that stupid 5s penalty away form rally stages (that was in GT4)

It's just realistic and you have to concentrate harder as every slip could mean end of the race.

You still crash and learn, that's always been part of the experience. I guess they just expected people to crash a lot to start with so they never had damage so bad that it would end the race. Racing games have historically sucked balls at reading controller commands properly enough to get the physics right anyway.

I really was a fan of Gran Turismo, but the first one was the only one I was able to play with because I don't have the consoles for the succeeding ones.

I loved all the GT games, don't understand the console issue when it comes to this though, not an FPS, you can't do instant 360's while moving at speed in a car

But guess it could be the price of the newer systems, either way can't way to pick this up, I skipped prologue and 4 as I beat 3 like 6 times.

Beat 1-4, and haven't played prologue due to me not having a PS3. But I may have to get a PS3 for GT5!
Or a PSP Go lol. I don't think the game will be that appealing on the hand held

this is gonna be sick! I'm excited for the damage... it makes the games so much more realistic. Ramming you car into other kinda make it drive a bit different...! And holy hell do those pics look pretty.
