There is a third THIRD party (if you will) launcher that you can get. I cant remember the name of it off the top of my head, but it allowed you to sync your games from different launchers into one.

Yeah, they rebuilt the games on the Unreal Engine, which is kind of surprising, because the GTA V version of their in-house RAGE engine runs pretty good even on low end hardware ... We will see soon how this decision will turn out ...

I bet that it will have RTX pizzaz and will require at least comet lake i3. Rockstar has potential to release something like GTA 5 or something like GTA 4. A game with medium requirements that runs well or botched port, that never runs right. Their latest RDR 2 is leaning towards GTA 4 category, it runs right, but HW requirements are way too high. GTA 5 wasn't that great at launch either. At the time it needed very powerful CPU and obscene amounts of VRAM. If not media and Techtubers, it would had been known as a very demanding game. GTA San Andreas at its time was also obscenely demanding. I am sure that if they decide to do a proper remaster with updated graphics and etc, it will have high HW requirements. Rockstar doesn't have a stellar track record for releasing low spec friendly games and not even once had shitty ports (any GTA 4 version ran like shit, particularly on consoles, GTA 5 was mostly unplayable on consoles, RDR 2 is more or less unplayable on reasonable computer, GTA SA was hard to run at native resolution of screens, RDR ran quite poorly on consoles, Bully ran quite poorly on everything and PC port had worse graphics than console versions). And to be honest, I don't care about yet another remaster of those ancient GTAs. I would only care about GTA SA if they fixed Ryder story, which was botched due to development hell, if they fixed Big Smoke's story, if they ditched awful physics engine and damage system of og GTA SA and put RC heli missions to garbage, where they belong. But that's for GTA SA alone, other two games were too boring to begin with, those would need a complete rehaul of everything. To the point that they are pretty much an entirely different games.

They make no sense. Why is skylake i5 minimum, but recommended is sandy i7? Sandy i7 is a lot weaker than skylake i5. Also FX 6300 is a lot weaker than skylake i5 or sandy i7. Anyway, it seems that 4C/8T haswell with 16GB RAM and ~RX 480 4GB should be enough to run them at 1080p high (maybe even ultra) and perhaps get 50-70 fps average. Seems that requirements so far are quite reasonable, especially for GTA SA, which was heavy to run for GPU (my GTX 650 Ti couldn't max it out at 1600x1200 and get stable 60 fps). A bit of shame that they take up 45GB of space. GTA 3 only took up a little bit more than CD, Vice City was 1.3GB and GTA SA a bit over DVD. You could fit them all on dual layer DVD, which was 8.5GB big and likely have some space left. GTA 4 takes up 22.7GB of space. For scale, og Crysis takes up only 7.96 GB and it has huge detailed worlds, probably bigger than GTA 4's.
