Gravitational waves

Looks like we've been hit recently by 14milisecond burst of gravitational waves and nobody can point a finger really what caused this event exactly .Any ideas?

A burst of gravitational waves hit our planet. Astronomers have no clue where it's from.

A mysterious cosmic event might have ever-so-slightly stretched and squeezed our planet last week.

The dinamic of the cosmos if baffling , it may be close(beatlejuice already went nova) or yet, far away and or any in-between and further apart, another phenomenae .
A Gravitatial wave is something I've fathomed many moons ago but it's not exempt from the "medium" thought it propagates and as such it can be lensed ( Gravitational-lensing).
