Hi , i recently bought a 1440p 165hz GSYNC Monitor , so i enabled this and VSYNC in NVCP . In some games that i have 90-100fps solid , the GSYNC is very smotther and i dont have lag/stutters ... But the problem is that in some games that i have no constant 80-100 fps , sometimes i have 90fps and in a second low to 75 for example , so the fluctuactions are a little big , well , in this games i have lag/stutter ( with GSYNC/VSYNC ON ) , so this is normal or in this games is better to cap the FPS with RivaTuner to 80 FPS por example ? Thanks

I read that VSYNC is better to be always with GSYNC....

V-sync on or off has no impact since only prevents fps over monitors refresh rate. So disabling or enabling it doesn't effect it. Thing is when you have a slow frame depends on how slow it is even g-sync can't prevent the stutter as there is no new frame to update. High spike in frame times you will see a lag/stutter regardless, what g-sync does it limit the stutter as much as possible and remove tearing of images due to incomplete frame draw's before the next frame is drawn.

As for you asking if its better to cap the FPS to 80, Issue with problem you had is if there was a slight hitch in game or something used your cpu that wouldn't stop a stutter is something took 100% of your cpu for a fraction of a second. You would need to figure out what caused the lag stutter to start with.

Oh, so the problem is cpu, not gpu right? Well i have a i5 6500 + gtx 1080 to play in 1440p 144hz GSYNC monitor. This happens in Forzá horizon 3, all in medium and in PUBG, but for example on Shadow of war Ultra settings this no happens and all is good... So is worth to upgrade mother and cpu?

Think you missed his point

I dont understood... So the problem here is the cpu that bottleneck the gpu sometimes, and that is the reason of the stutters? Because i dont think that the other parts are the problem

Both Forza Horizon 3 and PUBG are known to have performance issues and stutter. I would consider this a problem with these specific games rather than your system ;)
Not having the same problem in Shadow of War only reinforces that point.
