Skimmed the "Diamond Heist" which is credited with helping boost microtransaction sales in 2019. Looks like a decent expansion mission, so at least it looks like some of these microtransactions are not that bad. Awkward that they don't allow people to play them in single player though. Have they regularly added new stories, maps or added enterable building to the world since the initial game?

Still seems impressive at how much they are making from a 7 year old game to.

My wife just got GTA V 2 months ago and she is hooked.
The last time she got this into a game it was Sly Cooper on PS2

V was kinda of a disappointment. Not a bad game, but it just didn't have "it" like IV still has.

And I don't like online, it's a shame how they just abandoned all that extra content for single player.

This. I played the story and never came back to V. It was fun. It was also a lot of been there done that, four or five times now. Still does nail the 'vibrant city' immersion best of all though.

The online... I never even bothered

It was clear that was going to be a constant MTX/grind/money pit, and that is exactly not what I want for a GTA experience.

V has good physics apart from car speed limits being capped around 130-140MPH.

FiveM solves a lot of the issues of GTA Online if you find the right server.
