how long do you think we will have to wait until rockstar release the specs ?
as far as I can tell System requirements for the PC version of GTAV are not yet available, so guessing a date is pure speculation ATM

Can you play GTA IV with your hardware?
low to meduim with lowest resolution but gta iv was not optimized so it's a unfair comparison :/
Resolution 1024 x 768 my lowest
Im also planning on upgrading my gpu
probably a gtx660 or gtx 750 ti
are you a representative for rockstar ?
lol no mate just did some digging for ya
I dont see this game being graphically intensive seeing how on PS3 it runs fabolously and the graphics are quiet nice. I do look forward to hosting it on my cafe, i see this game being quiet the popular one with the crowds. Cant wait
I highly doubt it will even start on a gt 440
i didnt mean that shit of a video card. I was talking more along the lines of the cheap r9 series, 270's and such.
Sorry to burst your bubble but if GTA IV runs like that,, I don't think you'll have a pleasant experience with GTA V. Sure, the game wasn't optimized but it ran with medium to high settings on 1080p on my 4830 and that's a really old card. I suggest saving up for new hardware until it's released.
Better still save up and wait until it's release and see how it runs on what hardware and go from there.
It's just plain silly even if you have the specs requirements for a game to go out and pay for new hardware always better waiting until the games released.
True, I'd wait for the reviews and such.
lol after gta iv ill be waiting and watching
Wonder how long we have to wait,,,,,,,,,
It should come out this fall
SOOO FAR away, i actually have it on my ps3 but im excited to see what mods come out on the pc version
It's going to be derived from Xbox One/PlayStation 4 version, not PS3. Like other AAA games on those consoles, the hardware requirements are fairly extensive. They haven't been published officially yet but I don't expect it to be a slouch, especially from the VRAM perspective.
I beat this game on the PS3 but I cannot wait to get my hands on the PC version to replay it. Awesome awesome game.
only reason i didnt sell my ps3 was for the gta5, i just need to make time for it now.
Pfft. A GT 440 is hardly a gaming GPU. To say it isn't optimised because it doesn't run on a GT 440 is a bit rich...
Supposedly the game is going to be using the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE, not to be confused with the id Tech engine) which was used in Max Payne 3. So here's hoping. Though I wonder if this is going to be a x64 only game too. Most of the games coming out on the new consoles have been heading to x64 only.
does anyone use a non x64 system these days?
honestly i rather have red dead redemption over gta v. That game was an absolute joy to play and the story line was fantastic!
