as far as I can tell System requirements for the PC version of GTAV are not yet available, so guessing a date is pure speculation ATM

low to meduim with lowest resolution but gta iv was not optimized so it's a unfair comparison :/

Resolution 1024 x 768 my lowest

Im also planning on upgrading my gpu
probably a gtx660 or gtx 750 ti

I dont see this game being graphically intensive seeing how on PS3 it runs fabolously and the graphics are quiet nice. I do look forward to hosting it on my cafe, i see this game being quiet the popular one with the crowds.

Sorry to burst your bubble but if GTA IV runs like that,, I don't think you'll have a pleasant experience with GTA V. Sure, the game wasn't optimized but it ran with medium to high settings on 1080p on my 4830 and that's a really old card. I suggest saving up for new hardware until it's released.

It's just plain silly even if you have the specs requirements for a game to go out and pay for new hardware always better waiting until the games released.

It's going to be derived from Xbox One/PlayStation 4 version, not PS3. Like other AAA games on those consoles, the hardware requirements are fairly extensive. They haven't been published officially yet but I don't expect it to be a slouch, especially from the VRAM perspective.

Supposedly the game is going to be using the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine (RAGE, not to be confused with the id Tech engine) which was used in Max Payne 3. So here's hoping. Though I wonder if this is going to be a x64 only game too. Most of the games coming out on the new consoles have been heading to x64 only.

honestly i rather have red dead redemption over gta v. That game was an absolute joy to play and the story line was fantastic!
