And then what would we have to pay, 600+ USD/Euros for the new top SINGLE Nvidia GPU? Seems silly to me.
That's how much the 8800 Ultra was when it got released. I remember well because that was around the time I started getting into hardware and such.

So, you are accounting the veracity of the graph based upon a cycle established about a decade ago, in which more of these graphs have been displayed over it's course, then proven to be inaccurate and nothing more than a PR move to lure attention to an upcoming product.
Yeah, I've been in this long enough as well, to know what it's like. :toast:

EDIT: I would like for 600s to have at least a year of exposure. I know the market is aggressive, but until new consoles arrive, I don't really need a new GPU.

Considering these cards most likely won't be launched until maybe late this year, the graph could be totally legit. That's lots of time. Of course AMD, will have a new card almost ready by then too. Then Nvidia, then AMD, then Nvidia.. infinity.
I didn't know Infinity was getting into GPUs.

Fake. Where did you get it from, chappy?
From here, most likely. Although it's a 3D Mark Vantage graph, instead of BF3. Doesn't cite source either.

what happened to the 600 series?
It seems they don't like the numbers 3 and 6... Bad luck,
Chinese superstition?

This graph is the most legit thing I've seen in 2012 so far.
I think so too...

Fake. Where did you get it from, chappy?
Here: In the comments.

He made it him self xd
I never heard of gtr cards
Lol  Well if I did? expect a 300% increase in performance vs the competitor. ;)
I'll try to make one later... :)

We never know the 700-series could be like the 8800-series was all that time ago.

Eh, they like 6 just enough, after all the 6xxx series cards. 6800 was a great GPU in it's time.

Like this...

Expect $1000 for a single gpu solution if the graph is something like this..., Like it was with 8800 Ultra in the past. ;)

um my only reason for not believing this is tha the GTX 760 is supposed to be faster than the GTX 580 and on the GTX 590's heels. Sorry but last i checked they didn't have anything that revolutionary planned for this architecture and that's what it'd take for a performance jump like that between gen's.(series 7 -> 8800's).

I think if all these leaked graphs were true? GTX 780 will replace GTX 580 and GTR 785 will be a single gpu with virtual memory space (allowing both the CPU and the GPU to use a unified virtual memory) and pre-emption support.
