Does any one know where I can pre order the GTX 1070? I know Ebay is having bids on it and, of course the prices are being jacked up. I have checked websites like Nowinstock.net , however, it says sold out. It does, however post links to Amazon and NewEgg, but it says Unavailable.

Once I get one, I plan on selling my GTX 970 SLI at a good price!

It's always near impossible just before until shortly after release.

My advice is to be patient, and wait at least 30 days after release, when the mad rush will be over abd you might actually be able to buy one.

If you still wish to sell 970s for a good price, then sell them NOW. After the 1070 hit the market everyone and their mom will be selling their “old” cards. Sadly, this also means the same for people buying 1070s. Just compare the market for used 980/980Ti/Titan cards today and two weeks ago.

Seeing as the 1080 are still pretty much sold out everywhere don’t expect the 1070s to become readily available for at least a month or two. Which is when you should be really buying your new card. By then the stock should stabilize and custom cards should become available. Also drivers should be more mature and any hidden issues revealed.

Off course you can always stalk sites long enough and hope you’re one of the “lucky” ones that gets a pre-order, and that you don’t get a cancelation later on.

I would sell my cards now, but then I won't have any GPUs for my PC  I guess I am going to have to wait or make it a hit or miss
