178.26 are for Quadro cards only, but some editing does wonders

HOW TO INSTALL:
1) Go to nvidia.com
2) Get 178.26 Quadro Graphics Drivers (for example FX 4600)
3) Run installer and let it to extract files
4) Close installer and go to C:/Nvidia/youros/178.26
5) Replace original nv_4disp.inf/nv_disp.inf with one from attachment
6) Run setup.exe

I can't get that D/L link to work, the other link in the news post worked fine, albiet slow, but the d/l size was only like 80MB...seems kinda short in size imo. Can you validate that before I try them out?

I already installed them, works fine.

Cool...I'm still happy with 177.83's tbh, but I also have been curious to try out the 180's and see what goodies and improvements there are for single card users.

Yep, this link doeasn't work anymore. But i got drivers right from it and they works (check screenshot).
Replaced link with the one from news.

The 180.10 beta drivers show good promise, 600 marks increase for me in vantage! Can't wait to see how these drivers progress.

Benches mean little to nothing to me really...no offense.

But gaming performance, smootheness and stability are extremely important...I may try these drivers soon, but not for benchmarks. I get great game performance with the 177.83's, every game plays fine even with the GPU2 folding client running so it's tough for me to make the move...but the 180 series is finally dawning on us...so I gotta try em!

Looks like the 180.42 is ready for prime time, it's on nvidia's site too as a beta. Finally, xp64 drivers!

I had Riva Tuner 2.10, not working, put riva tuner 2.11, not working, evga precision, not working. In riva tuner, the tab is completely gone, in precision, it is greyed out and cannot click on it.
