GTX 560 TI 448 vs GTX 570 question.

Hello everyone, I was wondering how much better 570 is compared to 448 cores version of 560 TI? I was planning to order one and here are the prices available to me atm:

Asus 560 TI 448 - 252,60 Euros (-+ £210)


Asus 570 - £237.98 (-+ 285 Euros)

So the difference between the two is £28/ 33 Euro. Considering this difference, which one would you choose? Thanks a lot in advance.

570 is better. I have a 560TI 2GB regular core and OCing can get me alittle over stock 570 speeds but it would be worth getting the 570 for better performance after you OC it.

While the 570 is indeed better than the 560Ti, this 560Ti 448 core is very very close (the 570 has 480 Cores same as the GTX480) so I would get the cheaper one.

yup buy the 448TI, its cheaper and the real world performance difference is negligible

I would go for the 560 personally, in most cases they "should" overclock a bit better, I have a standard 560Ti and with a very minor voltage tweak it will do 1060mhz, 990 on stock volts, that takes it pretty much into reference 570 territory, of course if you then overclock the 570 heavily and optimum performance is your sole aim (as opposed to value)..... you have answered your own question which is go for the 570.

the 560Ti 448 IS a 570 missing 32 shaders... amounting to all of 1-2% performance difference, get the 448 Ti brew.

Yeah, the 560 Ti 448 core is practically a 570. But then again the 570 is practically a 470(+10%).
