I like the looks of the black/nickel blocks the best, but none of them look particularly bad to me.

Well, based on the roundup of 480 blocks (which all of these blocks supposedly perform similar to), all the ones I am considering are within a couple deg C on the gpu, but the AquagraFX block has much better vreg cooling performance.

I think it may be the block for me. If I can't find it, it's a tossup between Koolance and HK after that (I think. lol).

Now, to just find one in stock somewhere. lol.

42c load temps running 950/1900/2050 @ 1.138v in Heaven 2.1 with my Koolance if this helps

Edit: in fact while typing this as i have just ran a benchmark its still on thoes clocks and volts and idle is 28c

Well, no one else has said it, so I'm throwing out the Danger Den. I love my 5870 block, and they are made right in Oregon.

it also offered the best flow in the review posted up but not the best performance. it seems that based on its design you'd need a highflow pump to maximize its performance and I think wile e is going for a more silent loop.

Yup, now I see you did.

My 5870 block keeps my card under 40 degrees, no matter what, usually hits 37, with a Jingway 1200.

I have a DD on my 4870X2. I like it, just want to try something new this time around.

Silence is of no issue to me. I just want the most performance from my MCR-320 + 3 YL Highs (On a controller for silence when needed.) Restriction is of no matter either. I have a variety of pumps to choose from depending on my goals. Topped 350, topped 355, topped D5, stock D5.
