Hi all,

I have a 2500x1600 monitor and i am going to get a new rig for it .

I have finalized all spces expect the cards.

after reading most of reviews i am going to switch to the Nvidia camp...

I am down to two cards GTX 660Ti and GTX 690

Pros of GTX 660TI: cheap good performance and?

GTX 690 Best performance but EXPENSIVE

will i have any problems playing most games at 1900X1080p or 2500x1600?

what do you recommend?

Why GTX 660 Ti? Why not GTX 670?

GTX 670 SLI = GTX 690 - 200$.

For the price of GTX 690 you could get GTX 670 4GB SLI. Or add 200$ more and buy a third GTX 670 2GB.

For your 2560x1600 resolution I would go with at least a GTX 670 4GB GPU. Two 660 TI's would do alright as well however you may find yourself wishing you had more memory (like 4GB).
I take it you play games. Which ones are we talking about here?

Even GTX670 sli cannot beat 690, so why choose 660ti?

I use 670 sli at 1080p and can play most games at 80-100+ fps (I use 120hz monitor therefore anything above 60fps is more welcome). Your monitor has more resolution than mine so I suggest gtx670 sli, 4gb models preferably.

690 is a valid choice only when money is not an issue. Talk about more sexy card, less heat and power consumption.

Two 660's are too inferior.

You need to think about the (very) rare occasion sli wont work. Then your 660Ti's will tank at that resolution. I'd go for 670's. If money is no option though, I'd go 690.

they say about the gtx690 that it has better microstuttering managment but myself had never bad experience with sli (older cards)and the mentioned prob.

here is from computerbase.de

http://www.computerbase.de/artikel/grafikkarten/2012/test-nvidia-geforce-gtx-690/8/

The results of the GeForce GTX 690 surprised us. Because the frame distribution is 42-29 milliseconds, which is once again significantly better than the normal SLI system. Even at 30 frames per second, we can only detect a minimal difference for single-GPU configurations that are so absolutely playable! In other titles are repeated this result, it is therefore justified not only with the game.
