Hey bros, I was wondering if 550 Watt should be enough to run this system and a Gigabyte GTX 770

i5 3470 (NO OC)
2x4GB Kingston HyperX
Gigabyte B75M HD3
2x HDD (I could just buy a 2TB HDD and give the other HDD to someone...)
1x SSD
And Gigabyte GTX 770

Also, the PSU I'm using is a Antec VP2 550Watt, it's offers 550 watt completely.

If you want to go SLI, though you'll need at least a 750w.

yep and if dont gaming much, you dont need it, beside that you need motherboard that support SLI
but if you plan to add something like hdd or more fans, you could consider psu with more power

Yeah, haha. I never bought something so expensive so I want to be 100% sure.

$65 is the most expensive thing you bought for your computer?o_O Hell, I paid more than that for the heatsink on my 2600k. :ohwell:

To answer your question, that PSU is a quality PSU that will power your system with no issues.

If you want to go SLI, though you'll need at least a 750w.
hell no even my 700w would hold a 770 SLI with a good OC on the chip ... 700w was enough for 2 GTX580 Matrix + OC and a i7-920@ 4.4ghz

but also a single 770 is way enough atm with what the OP have allready.
i did choose the 770 because it was the cheapest alternative ... (what? factory new but second hand is cheap... no? ok... no) and i could add a 2nd one later.

i just noticed that

I've had a E5200 system for the past 3 years. I finally got a job and I finally had enough money to myself a system. So far I have everything running smoothly, just missing a SSD and a GPU :D

Definitely get the GPU first, SSDs are nice, but the GPU is much more important IMHO.

Well, that's good to know. I guess my Cooler Master 750w GX II is enough for my current 2 GTX 760 2GB (1250/6800) SLI.

no worries indeed ... :D as i said, some post above, i did run a GTX580 (matrix dual 8pin instead of 6+8pin) with a watt eater cpu (OC'ed) on a 700w psu without any major (or minor o_O) problems and 760 have a even lower power consumption

my GX lite 600w was also able to run a SLI of 460 oc 900/2000 with a phenom II X4 955 @ 4.1 CM GX serie are quite stable from personal experience (and imho)
