GTX 980 BOTTLE NECK?

will an amd a10 5700 bottle neck a gtx a 980? right now i have a readeon hd7570 so will the bottle neck make the graphic card no better then my old one?

It is worse than an i3. The 980 will certainly be miles better than what you have but obviously it will perform much worse paired with that CPU than what the 980 is capable of.

There is a pretty big difference between the two chips. OP would have to OC that thing to like, 6ghz to get performance close to a 3770.

Yes, it will bottleneck but not in every game, nor significantly.

They got a better OC on air than water which makes no sense for the 3770k. If you look at the actual CPU benchmarks the 3770k comes out way on top, above what their misleading graphs show at the top.

It will be miles better than your 7570 and you will see the difference.... It will probably yield the same performance improvement when you upgrade your cpu as yes the 980 will be bottlenecked. I would say if you only have the choice to upgrade one or the other then get the 980 as you won't gain any fps with a cpu upgrade on that weak 7570

What resolution will you be gaming at? I've found with my low spec setup that games run smoother if I can get the GPU to be the main bottleneck. If the GPU is under utilised raising the res (dsr) or loading up on the effects (AA or Ultra) usually enables a far smoother experience than if the CPU is maxed (lower res/low game settings).
