Hello!

Please upload the vBIOS of the recently announced GTX1070 8GB GDDR5X to TPU's database as soon as you get your hands on one. This is related to flashing GTX1080 Mining GPUs with an appropriate vBIOS to unleash their full capacity. In essence ASUS P104-100 has the following hardware on board:
  • ASUS GTX1080 Turbo 8GB PCB
  • 1920 CUDA-cores
  • 8GB GDDR5X of which only half is enabled
  • DP and HDMI outputs that are disabled via vBIOS

We were stuck on finding / modifying an appropriate vBIOS for the GPU due to the limited CUDA-cores. Feels like a Christmas, oh it is!

My bad, it must've been added within the last few days? How do I upload its default BIOS for you?
Gpu-z has an upload feature

Did this work, to change BIOS and not bricking the card?
I have one of those mining cards I'd like to make useful.

Not yet AFAIK. Linus "hacked" drivers into P106 some days ago, people are doing the same for this.

Still waiting for that 1070 GDDR5X VBIOS.
