They get slammed with orders, and I think it takes a bit for the system to catch up with orders vs. inventory. It sucks, but they are not obligated to do anything. Would it be good for there rep? Yes.

I never buy from them now. 3 out of 5 orders I've placed with them have been messed up in one way or another. I remember when the 8800GT came out. I paid for a 512 card, but they sent me a 256. Then when I called them, they tried to tell me it was my mistake.

Wow, that sucks. That is why I only buy from TigerDirect or Newegg.

I only buy from Newegg and ZZF. Newegg would always be my choice, but I live in TN so I have to pay tax.

I would always buy from amazon.com given the option.

They pay return shipping on the item and give a full refund if you want it.

Amazon prime = free 2 day shipping, $3.99 for overnight per item.

IMHO best retailer out there... Only problem is they don't stock a good selection on all things.

I have looked around ZZF for my PII build but I really didn't find a good selection for my parts. But I don't have to pay taxes from newegg, so I was happy.

ZZF is actually quite good, and offer cheap 2 day fedex shipping. They are especially good with power suppy prices sometimes.

Bought a GTX 280 SC off amazon for $300 after MIR and a copy of Crysis Warhead for $20, paid $7.98 to have them at my door on monday :)

I'm pretty damn sure I'll get them then too.

Also got myself some knowledge: NEVER buy anything you need/want soon from buy.com... EVER.... $5 doesn't cover the crap that they were pulling with that deal and not being able to fulfill it.

5 differret gtx280 orders canceled. wtf, but again another to good to be true situation but with a little better results for some people,

3 - lessons learned, because some people DID get them.

1, Buy as many different flavors as possible,
2, Buy them as fast as possible, no considering if its a pricing mishap, people DO get them.
3, pay for the fastest shipping possible.
