i found out that the bios of my Gainward GeForce GTX460 1GB only allow voltage to go up to v1.087 in MSI Afterburner is there away i can change that?

i mean do i need another bios or is it the voltage chip that only supports that?

That is pretty much the max voltage for the GTx460 via software I believe, so the only way to go higher would be a hard mod.

There are ways to make the 470 go to 1.2V via tweaks in the new Nibitor. Not sure that the 460 can unlock in the same fashion, but it may be worth the time to donate for the new Nibitor;)
