GTX460 Mismatch

I was having heat issues and and was lowering the clocks. While the flash went threw, but temps were still high. So i decide to use EVGA 1.13 bios patch thing. Well every since then i get a mismatch. It say my DeviceID is OE29, which should be OE22. I've tried almost everything I can think of. Clear eprom and force flash. But the device id OE22 will not stick for nothing.. Ideas?

Maybe because it's a special EVGA BIOS they changed the DeviceID? If it still works as intended, then I wouldn't worry.

dunno if it will work, erasing the bios totally and than force flash it with the original bios.

remember don't reboot after erasing the bios or u will have a blank card that don't post.

yep tried that too, this really has me stump. and evga is taking sweet time to repsone

maybe they will answer u in start of this week we are going into i mean monday @ 28feb ^^;

but still curious why it won't go back to normal when u overwrite it with "-4 -5 -6" i mean it this than u overwrite everything even mismatch i did that on my old Gainward GTX460 GS to flash it to GLH and modding my N460GTX but i flashed my hawk back to stock bcs MSI closed +200mv on the N460GTX Hawk so they don't get damage via Afterburner.

got off phone with evga, they said i can send it in for replacement. guess i got one of those batchs. same issues also
