GTX560Ti problem

Hi!

Sometimes my GFX driver stops working and resets itself. Yesterday I even got a blue-screen with about a file starting with NV. It came while I was chatting in Skype.

When I test the GPU with OCCT it works perfectly. No errors. Also while gaming in the 3 or so month I own this GTX560Ti is has never crashed.

I got the latest driver and did reinstall it.

Should I bring this GTX to the shop I got it from? How could they test it when it doesnt crash in OCCT?

Swap video cards with a friend to test it before you RMA it ?

Hard to test since the problem can take a week to occur. I have another GPU in my CPU so if I RMA there is no problem.

Did this random crash occur with older drivers?

Probably the driver issue everyone is facing. I had problems with the latest WHQL one too. A few display driver reecovered situations and a few times the card got stuck in a low power state needing a restart at least. The latest beta seems to have fixed it for me.

I had the same problem with mine on the last but one driver set, since the last driver update I have had no issues, it was fairly common place, assuming you have the latest drivers it possibly could be more than a software issue.

Reseat the card, a good opportunity to also clean the card. Then do a clean install of the latest driver but select custom and only install the proper driver and physX.

Agree, I also have similar problems with the 301.42 [WHQL].

I´am using the 304.79 [BETA] now and it´s working fine

I have the 301.42 driver but will install the beta one now.

I RMAed the 560Ti - 3dmark vantage and 11 did not work anymore and i had constant driver restarts.
