Alright...
I have been looking for the perfect case for me...for years. I do not remember through how many cases I have gone in the years...20 or so sounds about right.

The longest I held onto a case was for about 12 months. A Kingwin 424 in black...a beauty I tell ya. But I bought it used and so I wanted something new.

I need:
  • Complete steel or aluminum construction or a combination thereof. No plastic front
  • No Door
  • Space for at least 3 5.25" drives
  • Space for at least 5 HDDs
  • Space for one floppy
  • 12cm fan in the rear
  • Midtower!!!
  • No upsidedown semi BTX format for ATX. My passive A8N-SLI Premium cannot handle the heat buildup

I am open for suggestions. Price shall not matter at first...please gimme specific make and model...

is it really that difficult? (to read) just messin man.

ive been looking for a roughly similer case to no avail even though i have no need for the 3.5bay as darksaber does.

the closest thing i know of is a TT Armor save the fact it is full tower and has two side flaps.

yea seen that case...but even though it is a "midi tower"...its basically as big as most full towers...

thanx for the suggestion...

and it has a door...

darksarber i think ur better off having someone custom build u one. just pick a style you like and go from there. you can always mod a given case to your specs also..

the front door for the mic/firewire... is not very sturdy. I used to have a Lian-Li PC7 case.

Don't personally like the appearance of that one. The case I like the look of (features and appearance) is this antec.
