When i openned the corsair link program today i noticed that i was able to set my H100i Fan speeds to up to 2600RPM. Seeing as i've Overclocked my CPU and GPU's, i was wondering if it would hurt to set it to like 2500RPM? Is it going to decrease the life of the fans/cooler at all? Cheers :toast:

Highly doubt it, although it will be terribly loud and unnecessary. You could have it way lower than that and still have your temps in check if its a half decent OC.

What are your temps like? You shouldn't have to set your fans that high. Set them on "Performance". Mine are running about 1600RPM...

the radiator of the h100i is thin and those fans are pretty good,no need to set them on max.

If you want to do 5Ghz+ runs and dont mind being deafened like me, go right ahead and enjoy yourself :)
If they have a max speed of 2500rpm, then using it wont hurt their life span. Everyone else just prefers silent efficiency. I like brute force.

when I ran a 12 hour blend torture test, my temps sat at around 65-80 but at one point they peaked to 85-89. Are these temps OK? I had started at 1.275v but I kept getting errors until I reached 1.3v.

At 1.295v I thought that I had found the balance but after running p95 overnight at some point it 'Stopped working' so I upped it to 1.3.

Yeah when the program stops responding its a sign of instability. Temps seem fine and I don't think lowering the fans would affect it all that much.
