so i bought this cooler for my 4790k, im not doing any extreme OC. just a mild 4.7. one thing i cannot figure out are how to control the fans on the cooler. H80 came with 2 fans which i installed on both sides of the radiator. then connected to the CPU fans header on MB. when I change the fan values in the h80 software called Corsairlink, does it change the fan speed for both fans or just one? when i open the configure page in corsairlink i see there is 2 fans, a MB fan and a H80iv2 fan. see image. current setup only the MB fan is running. what is the H80iv2 fan?

Instead of plugging the fans into the radiator just plug them into the case fan plugs on your motherboard then you can control them through the bios

It's likely changing both fan speed at once since they're plugged into the same port

Benchmark Scores well I've fried a 775' P4 12 years ago, that counts?
look at the adapter or splitter for your fans, if both conection sockets are equal speed and control will afect both, but is the socket / conector of the speaker is diferent on any side that means that 1 fan will be controled, the other will only feed power to spin,

Take a watch on it, to see if both ends have the same pins or connectors, if both are the same you might control 2 fans, if not, you will be able to control one, cuz the other is only getting power / energy to spin ,

IF just 1 fan its spinning that might mean that will be the pull or exhaust fan, cuz the one you can control must be the one that pushes air against the rad, for variable speed,

Regards,
