If you play any games that use nvidia's physx then go with the 760 (borderlands 2 for example).

also... you gonna be selling that 4gb of ddr2?

The 760 is more powerful and the best card in it's price range, probably only until AMD releases the 8000 series though.

There is no correct answer because they both perform very similarly. The GTX 760 is faster on paper but not enough to warrant any decision based on performance alone. The price would be the ultimate factor. Where I live both cards cost about the same, £195-215. So the GTX 760 is the easy decision based on performance and price in my country.

...guru 3d supported the 7950 violently...

I've yet to see Guru3D favoring the 7950 over the 760. In this article they show the 760 besting it on all but Hitman Absolution:

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_760_review,1.html

They tested them at 1920x1200, which is what I'm going by, but the Samsung 2333SW in your spec chart is 1080p native, so if you're still on that, it's an appropriate bench res.

Are you sure you're not confusing the 7950 with the 7970 when you say Guru3D favored the AMD card?

I think the guys in the forum section of Guru 3D advised the GTX 760. I don't think he read any reviews.

LOL, there's not that many comments about the 7950 there, and most of the ones there ARE acknowledge the 760 to be superior.

This is what you should have been paying attention to most:

"However, a GTX 760 2GB is still a good bit faster than an HD 7950 3GB. Personally, I would go for a card that is more powerful and can run a game at much faster fps at 1080p or even 2560x1600 vs a slower card that might give it a slight edge when running a crazy high resolution like 4K"

This is esp true if you're still on that display in your spec chart like I said, which is only 1080p, and even more true if you plan on sticking with out of the box clock speed. Even were you planning to OC, you can't always count on every 7950 OCing well. Often times cards that come from GPU chip batches late in the model cycle have low ASIC Quality that are hard to OC with.

How is this a hard choice? Look at reviews of the two cards, pick the one that is faster for the money you want to spend.

Performance numbers can be seen here: http://tpucdn.com/reviews/Powercolor/HD_7870_Devil/images/perfrel_1920.gif

Assuming you picked these two GPUs beause they are about the same price where you are at, it would seem the GTX760 is the clear choice.
