Hey I just added a second IDE hard drive to my rig and I was trying to make sense out of it's preformance, thus wanted to find a hard drive test I understand. I used Everest and used a few of the tests but didn't uderstand much about the test. If anyone has some explination of the test or better test that I could compare results to that would be great. Here's the specs:

Main drive~ Western Digital 80 Gig speed unkown
Back Up IDE~ Seagate 80 Gig speed unkown

Basically I want to see how fast these drives are in comparison to other drives.

Maybe these.
Probably good to run tests with several programs to check for anomalous results, but dont compare benchmarks between programs.
