hello everyone, I have a pc that I just built, with the following specs:

Core i7 9700k
16gb ddr4 ram 2400mhz
500gb Ssd sata blue kingstone

Anyway, I want to buy a cheap gpu in the meantime but run the Warzone, I found the HD 6970 gpu at a good price and I would like to know if someone has used it to play Warzone and what experience have they had?

Thanks.

Probably won't be very playable. Minimum recommended for 1080P is a GTX 670 which is close to 30% faster if not more than the HD 6970

You could buy it for an older system but the card wouldnt work on your current set up. The HD6970s came out at a time where UEFI wasnt around yet so they dont have UEFI support and without that you wont be able to run them as motherboards with UEFI bios dont like non-UEFI supported GPUs.

Youre looking at pre-Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge level of hardware otherwise youre out of luck

It probably wont work. The latest driver for the 6970 on Win 10 x64 dates back to 3/1/2016 and its a BETA driver. Official is even older @ 29/7/2015

I'm assuming your talking about Call of Duty: Warzone?

Maybe look for a recommended GTX 970. They shouldn't be too expensive.

Minimum specs would be GTX 670 or HD 7950.
