HD3870X2 aftermarket cooling?

Hey guys,
I'm new here :) Looks like a good forum.

Anyway, I have my HD3870X2 for quite sometime now, but I want to lower it's temperatures.
Are there any aftermarket cooling products for it (ruling out liquid, not into that atm)? Even some that will fit a single core will be good - I could buy 2 of those and mod them to fit together.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

-Idan.

I have seen somewhere on the interwebs that there was the option of using 2 Zalman VF900's.

I've seen that suggestion as well, but I've yet to see anyone confirming that.

The only product I've seen actually attached to a 3870x2, is Thermalright HR-03 Plus A., but fitting 2 of those on the 3870x2 will be "slightly" problematic.

I've also heard that 2 vf900 cu's will fit if you put one on sideways. That's the only aftermarket solutions I've heard of though.

Well, I'll look more into that then.

Or I could just hope that someone is selling their HD3870x2 custom cooling (i.e. the ASUS\Visiontek\GeCube ones :p)

you could do something like this, have one cooler on top and one cooler underneath!?!?

The dual thermalright idea would be great!

I personally don't like zalman coolers, don't think they're a big improvement over the stock one.

Two thermalrights would be the best! one facing up one facing down.

Do you think there's enough room for one of those thermalright's to go around the card?

I wouldn't really consider it a viable option because of the weight of the two thermalrights... I'd instead have two VF900CUs facing away from each other and a small heatsink epoxied onto the PCI-E bridge.

The weight should be an issue.
I'm using Antec 900 as my case, and it has this support bracket for heavy & long cards.

The PCI-E bridge should be easily solved aswell, I have a spare north-bridge heatsink from my previous motherboard :)
