Hey guys i have been through a fair amount of headsets.. and i can say i have never been pleased with the material quality and the comfort. So im here to get your suggestions.

My budget is about 100$ (USD)

I need something with good sized ear cups and something that does not tear?

Example my current headset the cups are peeling off... and its getting annoying and itchy *grose

I don't do professional audio but i hear there are alot of better audiophile headphones within my budget way way better than razer? I hear Linus and Hardwarecanucks hate on razer headset due to the low quality etc..

Welcoming any suggestions, just 1 more thing. It needs a mic also.

years ago PC Gamers started moving away from gaming headsets in favor of headphones like the Audio Technica ATH-M50/AD700 and microphones like the Zalman clip on.

today PC Gamers are buying external D/A converters and headphone amplifiers, USB condenser microphones, AKG and Sennheiser headphones, etc.

i'm really surprised Logitech, Corsair and Razer haven't come out with integrated units like the Essence STU. I thought they would be all over that like the mechanical keyboard thing.
