OK to my disappointment this thing is leaking!

the leak is occurring from the bottom left and right sides of the accetal and mounting plate. The pics will explain where the leak is coming from.

I don't know what to do. This is my first build with water and I bought the HK from someone on here.

Does watercool have warranties on theses?

Just any input helps.

Try erocker's suggestion below first. If this still fails then do this:

Power the system off, drain the loop, and take off the CPU block. Take apart the block and check the seal on the O-ring(s), then make sure you put everything back together correctly.

It's overtightened. It's bending the metal mounting bracket and putting a gap in the seal.

Air in the loop gets caught in the pump. You running two loops or one? If running two pumps on one loop, it's harder to keep them both bled (at least it was for me the one time I tried it).

Sounds like you have air in your loop.
You will need to work the air pockets in to your res and add more water.

Work the loop, rock the case, turn pumps on & off. Repeat.

Take it off all together and make sure the bracket isn't bent, bend it back if you need to. Or, go a step further and dissassemble it and make sure the gasket it allright. There are instructions that come with HK's. I used a micrometer to find the correct mounting pressure with mine.

According to the directions the ideal contact pressure is 200N. So from the top of the screw to the top of the mounting bracket the distance needs to be 19.6mm.

When tightening only do a couple turns on each screw at a time in a criss-cross pattern.

I have fixed something simular to this before. if the block has a rubber ring around it that meets in the middle, take some vasoline and put a light coat on the rubber then tighten the bolts evenly.

Plumber's grease is similar but thicker, and meant for putting on O-rings and such. You can use that if you have some.

Resolved.

Disabled and re-assembled the HK WB and re-seated the rubber gasket.

Ran it for a hour , no leaks which is better than what happening before.

Will do more thorough leak test but so far so good.

Got another problem though. Will post it in a new thread as it is not related to this one.

Excellent. I know how much leaks suck. Actually had a leak yesterday too, but it was from my Res...which was not near components.

Did you figure out the correct tension to tighten it down to?

haven't done that part yet. But even when it wasn't tightened down to the MOBO it still leaked which pretty much led to the rubber gasket in the WB.

Will update after the tightening down to the MOBO part is done.

A micrometer will make it easier, but if you can find a smaller ruler with centimeters on it, that should work. :)
