Hellblade [Official Site] is coming to PC! Developers Ninja Theory (DmC: Devil May Cry, Odyssey to the West) have been working on getting their recent production Hellblade to the PC platform. Obviously with these developers we can expect some pretty hefty melee gameplay and some deep character stories. They claim that this release is going to be an Indie-AAA title and bringing out a graphically advanced game worthy of AAA status, all through independent development. Double Fine will be publishing this one, and it’s all being pushed through with the new Unreal Engine 4.
Frankly, what I’ve seen so far from the concept art and art screens, we’re going to see a pretty ace production. They definitely have the brawn for graphics; we’ll just have to hope the gameplay and storyline get just as much attention. The protagonist in Hellblade’s story will be Senua, a female character, whose concept art looks utterly godlike. All we know is that it’s to be based on a Celtic myth, and follow Senua’s personal journey through the underworld.
