Download latest BIOS Version 2103, extract and rename it to Z87P.CAP
Copy bios to the USB flash drive and put that USB flash to this USB port

Then press USB BIOS FLASCHBACK button for three seconds, and the BIOS is updated automatically

Try extract BIOS and only rename to Z87P without CAP, file name extensions might be hidden.
Then copy to the USB flash drive and try.

You should try with another USB flash drive.

Was it bought second hand and used?

[update]

I started the motherboard with a G3220 and it's run perfectly, the motherboard it's ok no problem, and i noticed that the factory bios was v1405 and i update it to the latest version v2103

But ... the problem persist, either having updated the BIOS my motherboard don't recognize i7-4790 the same don't initialize ... if you try to tell me the cpu is the problem don't do it ... i tested the CPU in another motherboard and its works perfectly ...

You have one RAM stick in DIMM_A1, try put that stick in the DIMM_A2 slot.

And after that try CLEAR CMOS:

Since it does power up I'd try replacing the BIOS chip. I just looked on Ebay and they're $11-14. It's at least worth a try if you want to save that mobo.

It power up with Intel Pentium Processor G3220, but won't with I7-4790.

[Update #2]

I fixed the problem

1) I Started the motherboard with a compatible CPU, with a clean Windows Installation and of course with the old BIOS version v1405.
2) Installed the Intel Management Engine interface v9.0.0.1323 (is obligatory this version or the ASUS Bios Update Utility don't go to work either with a lower o newer version is exactly the IME programmed to run)
3) Started the BIOS updater for New 4th Gen Intel Core Processors selecting the current BIOS version and update it!
4) Finally! the motherboard recognize the i7-4790

this is the only way to run the motherboard and similar series of ASUS with +4th generation of Intel Processors no matter what you do this is the proper method

I sent you a message also. Where did you find the Intel Management Engine interface v9.0.0.1323 download? Thanks
