I have created a usb os installer for Linux Mint Mate with no problems.
I created an iso image from a W XP-64 install cd. Tried Rufus to create from this. Rufus said it could not because 'there were compressed files' in the iso. Tried with UNetbootin which created a thumb but at boot, (not exact words) 'will start installation in 10-9-8-etc seconds' & then starts countdown again, over & over. Dont really need xp64 on thumb but I just was trying it out, , , Mint installed sooo quick! as opposed to dvd install.
I tried a third bootable creator, dont remember which, but it dinna work either.
Any ideas out there??
