same problem here

I did have a really bad time trying to reboot my computer after the blue screen

Yes, it sounds like a registry issue to me, as mentioned, download a free program, personally I like and use CC Cleaner as it is more than just a registry cleanup utility, in fact it's fantastic...... you can download it here:

I got rid of the blue screen

Microsoft replied with a message saying that my antivirus was the one creating the problem, and gave me a few choices. and one of them was to turn off one if I had more than one running in my system. I have Mcaffe 8.5, but I decided to turn off defender, and so far I havent had any blue screen.
