Hey guys, i hope u can help me decide, but one of the problems i have is that i cant find the full specs for the laptops. Ok, here are the 2 laptops Im looking right now:

HP 699.99

GATEWAY 599.99

Both look like decent casual gaming laptops. I cant find anywhere if they are ddr2 or ddr3 on the video cards. The hp seems a tad smaller.
Is the $100 difference worth it for the hp?? 9600m gt looks better tahn the 3850 but is it gonna be noticeable in games??

The 9600 is better. As for games its probably wont show any earth shattering difference, but the 9600 should perform better then the 3850.

The Gateway has a tad bit bigger screen, but there fairly identical. I would probably go Gateway.

Second link is broken . 9600 should be "a lot" better than 3850. I doubt either of those is ddr 3

It's 3600 series graphics not 3850. The 9600M is better than the 3600.

9600M is going to be way better than the 3600. Go with that one.

WOW!!! the poll is pretty even. There is a 100 dollars diference is it worth it?? The hp is lighter by almost a pound too. Also on the gateway site it says that it comes with ddr3 system memory! could it be true??

With the HP you always pay extra for the name JMO . I think the gateway is a much better product and what is an extra pound any way ? That could be attributed to a better cooling design . But still the gateway is a better one .

I would actually get that HP, as the memory is expandable to 8gb and it's got a great graphics card, but the Gateway is a VERY nice computer!
