Asus ROG STRIX Z390-F Gaming
€ 235

MSI Z390 ACE
€ 270

Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
€ 192,50 (ultra= € 244 , master = € 284)

Which is better? Any other options I should consider? Both come with a free game in my region btw (AC:Odyssey or COD:BO4).
I know Gigabyte is pretty good, but has a difficult bios from what I've read

Going to pair this with a i7 9700K

Their service is also one of the worst in the industry. They've been caught on more than one occasion damaging items sent into RMA then blaming the customer to get out of replacing the defective part. They also lie and take months to get functional products returned to the customer.

MSI comes with AC:Odyssey
Asus comes with COD:BO4
Gigabyte comes with Far Cry 5
not a decision maker, but still...

MSI better for service?

We were strictly an Asus shop from 2002 tpo 2012... and yes, they still have the most easily navigable BIOS IMO. But between the RoG tax, tendency to go cheap on the audio / LAN subsystems on low - medium quality board series, was moved to try others. Asus service is responsive, results much harder to come buy. The TUF series has been much better than the RoG line in many of those respects. Since Z87, we have used mostly MSI and Giga boards tho the Gigglebyte BIOS and manulas I find quite frustrating.

Seems no decent deals for black friday here in Belgium, just ordered the new system, hopefully it's a decent enough upgrade:
* MSI Z390 ACE
* Intel 9700K
* 2x8gb Corsair RGB Vengeance DDR4 3200

I find it interesting that Black Friday (the day after US Thanksgiving) sales have taken hold in Europe.

Newegg USA has $20 off for next 4 days... PCpartpicker showed no retailers in Belgium.

- The MSI ACE has the most overbuilt VRM of the three above, And tech power up reviews said very positive things about their bios. I also read on toms hardware that MSI boards recently have had the best ram compatibility on their testing.

- Gigabyte is good overall but dont be fooled by their VRM. They have an inefficient VRM with quantity over quality inductor and mosfet design. Many reported high vrm temperatures on their z370 boards. I would highly recommend replacing that option with the Asrock z390 extreme 4 it has an excellent VRM and features for its price point, also Asrock motherboards have been receiving lots of positively from consumers user reviews and that says something

- Asus strix great bios, But " good enough " VRM. again The asrock z390 extreme 4 vrm easily wins here.

i would also recommend that you cheak out the Asrock Z390 taichi. a very over engineered board for an attractive price. All the features a high end users would and more !
