The Sapphire has a built in switch to go to a 6970

all the sapphires. can you give me a link 260 euro the one you spotted is to much but someone did post one at a price of 240 euro

They do not overclock and have terrible reliability.

If for one or other guy XFX card broke down or so it doesnt mean that for 3rd guy it will do same.I can say same for HIS cards, 2 out of 2 died on me, than i switched to XFX 5850 crossfire no problems for more than year now, so it really depends on luck not on anything else.

i only owned 1 XFX card now and its this card i have now never had any trouble with it.
But it wont overclock not even 10mhz

oke guys i had a chat with my neighboor he bought my hd ready tv +my card for 150 euros so NOW i got 250 euros to spent

but isnt that sapphire loud as hell

If you are interested in BF3, then the 2Gb 6950 is the best choice if you have €250 to spend.

Also, I know it just gets more expensive all the time, but getting an aftermarket cooler for your new gfx card is a cracking investment. I only discovered this when the stock fan on my 5850 started packing in. I replaced it with a Zalman 3000 gfx card fan and had I known the difference that it would make, then I would have done it a long time ago. I went from running my O/C GPU @ 900MHz at 70 °c with the stock fan sounding like a vacuum cleaner to running my 900MHz O/C at 40 °C with the stock fan inaudible above the background humming of the case fans.

Edit: For overclocking, download MSI afterburner and find out what the max safe voltage is for whatever (ATI) card that you end up with and take it from their. Overclocking through the CCC overdrive is pathetic.

I dont care much for OC a GPU im more into CPU OC,SO guess Sapphire is than your choice mate

Oke i just order a Sapphire 6950 Dirt edition and i shall unlock it to a 6970
