Help me decide. Sapphire or XFX 5750?

I'm gonna upgrade my 2nd pc because my pc is using way too much of electricity. So i want to upgrade my other computer to play about 80% of the games. Im gonna keep my computer just to play the games like Crysis. So I'm planning on putting a HD5750 or a HD5770 somewhere at the end of march or april for my 2nd rig. So im wondering whether to get the Sapphire one or the XFX one. Which is better? If you got any other suggestions please let me know

Talking about 5750 standard versions Sapphire has much better cooler. I have not played with XFX 5750 but I did play with MSI 5750 which has identical cooler as XFX and is poor cooler. It was reaching above 85C+ at 100% fan.

How much electricity is it using now? Per month/per year?
How did you calculate it?

So Sapphire is better to go for than XFX? I did some research on it. And they say the 5750 goes about 66C max. Do you know how much the Sapphire one heats upto?

Well i got one of my friends to calculate it. He did it from some power calculator thing online. So he told me that my PC uses about 800w. So might as well thought of upgrading the graphic card on my other computer. It can currently run games like Mass Effect 2 on full graphics on 720P res on the X1950GT. So if i go to a 5750 it should be able to handle more than enough.

XFX is relatively new to the ATI card world. Pick Sapphire. They are a Tier 1 OEM. XFX is a Tier 2.

Take whichever's cheaper. Cooling issues are nonexistent with these cards.

Is the Sapphire Vapor-X good? I have heard good thing about it but I have never used a Vapor-X card. And for gaming at 1360x768, is a 512MB card enough or best to get a 1GB ?

I am using a Power cooler 5750 right now with the ZEROtherm cooler and I am not impressed at all (it idles 49C at 50% fan speed and at 100% fan speed it drops to only the mid 40C range)

I think my reference 5770 cooler was better than this (but a lot louder)

I would spend more $ here and get the
HIS (I really like the larger exhaust area)

I got this card open box at newegg for $100 so I am not whining too much, but I must say the 5750 is an excellent value. I am playing COD4 and Sup Com2 1920 X 1200 at max it its fine.

Vapor X is one of the best OEM coolers made

If you upgrade the monitor ever, 512mb will not be okay. Spend the couple extra bucks and go 1GB.

lol. The 5750 has awesome benchmarking scores and awesome low-power management. Im sure i'll love it
